Our Mission
At P.S. 85, we combine a supportive environment with an unshakeable commitment to academic rigor. We plan with the end in mind, utilizing data-driven targets and deliberate practice to transform student effort into conceptual mastery. By engaging every scholar in the productive struggle of independent work and peer-to-peer discourse, we foster a growth mindset and empower students as confident, self-directed leaders of their own learning. Great Expectations spark higher aspirations.
